Natural-Looking Tooth Implants
What is a Tooth Implant?
- Titanium post
- Crown
The Benefits of Tooth Implants
There are a number of ways that missing dentition can be restored, such as a bridge, partial or complete dentures. However, some people may not want to go through the fitting process or get used to the feel of a removable dental appliance. At-home care may be an inconvenience, too. Implants are a predictable, reliable, long-term solution. Implants help prevent bone and jaw deterioration, which, in turn, maintains the natural shape of the mouth.
Tooth implants are inserted during one in-office visit, and the crown is placed when the post is secured. Once your tooth implant is complete, you take care of it the same way you do your natural teeth with twice daily brushing and flossing and dental cleaning (prophy) appointments.
